Jiangxi Normal University

Jiangxi Normal University (JXNU) is a high-level university co-sponsored by Jiangxi province and the Ministry of Education of China and a member of the Midwest University Fundamental Capacity Building Project. It is a key provincial comprehensive university granted the priority of development by Jiangxi Provincial Government and has three campuses, Yaohu ,Qingshanhu and Gongqingcheng, covering 300 hectares in area. At present, JXNU consists of 24 undergraduate colleges offering courses in Philosophy, Economics, Law, Pedagogy, Literature, History, Natural Science, Technical Science，Management and Arts. It has 3 mobile post-doctoral stations, 26 doctoral degree programs and 129 Master's programs as well as 11 Special Master authorizations. In addition, it has 70 undergraduate majors

The University has permanent staff of more than 2900, of which 1860 are full-time teachers, including 307 professors and 803 associate professors. Over 77.4% of the teachers have been granted Ph.D or Master's degrees.

At present, the university has over 55,000 students including more than 4500 postgraduates, and over 10,000 adult students receiving further education.

The university has established cooperative relationships with more than 30 universities in Madagascar, Ghana, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand, Korea, Ukraine, Zambia, Hungary, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Vietnam and so on. Until now, it has foreign students from Madagascar, Ghana, Cameroon, Germany, Japan, Australia, Korea, USA, Indonesia, Thailand, Zambia, Nigeria, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Russia, etc.
